Is it fair to write a review without visiting a place?

Well I tried to visit, really did but the waitlist is months out and so far I have not been able to secure a spot yet. I will keep trying.

The place I am talking about is the Founders Club, part of the Seattle Fairmont hotel’s $25 million dollar restoration. Inspired by the speakeasies of the 1920s, it’s bills itself as an intimate lounge that specializes in hard-to-find, vintage, and fine spirits.

I am curious about this place for a number of reasons, one I like a good speakeasy, two I like a good drink and three, I am intrigued by some of the reviews.

The question I am looking to answer by visiting is; Is the “Improved Whiskey Cocktail” worth $50.

Stay tuned, maybe some day I will get in!
